Hear your pace.

3D Pacer places sound in the space around you while you run: a steady cadence beat, plus voice cues. Too slow, and it sounds ahead of you. Too fast, and it drops behind. Right on pace, and it runs at your side.

Your ears already know where things are.

You can tell when someone is coming up behind you without turning around. 3D Pacer uses that same sense. Set a target pace, start running, and listen for where the cue is coming from.

In front of you

You’re slower than your target. Speed up and chase it down.

Beside you

You’re right on pace. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing.

Behind you

You’re faster than your target. Ease off and let it catch up.

A beat to run to

3D Pacer doesn’t just talk to you. It plays a steady beat set to your target cadence, the number of steps you take each minute.

Land each footstep on the beat and you settle into an even, efficient rhythm without counting or thinking about it.

Cadence and pace work together. Pace is how fast you’re covering ground. Cadence is how often your feet hit it. Keeping both steady is what makes a run feel smooth from the first mile to the last.

One beat, one step

Why run by ear

Eyes up, not on your wrist

No glancing at a watch or pulling out your phone. You keep your eyes on the road, the trail and the people around you.

Understood in an instant

You don’t have to read a number and do math mid-stride. Direction tells you what to do the moment you hear it.

Steadier runs

Even pacing is one of the simplest ways to run stronger and finish better. Small drifts get corrected before they turn into a blown run.

Feels like running with a partner

When you’re on pace, the cue settles in next to you, like a training partner who never has an off day.

3D Pacer needs headphones.

The sense of direction comes from tiny differences between what your left and right ears hear. A phone speaker can’t create that, so the app only works with headphones on.

The quieter the world around you, the easier it is to tell where the cue is coming from. That’s why we recommend noise-canceling headphones or Apple AirPods.
